Social Media Content Creation and Observations

Through an Advanced Social Media and Analytics course, I have created content for social media, and observed content produced by others to learn algorithms.

After observing the X (left), Facebook (Center), and Instagram (Right) accounts held by Starbucks, I created my own content that resembled advertisements they would post. My focus was their fall menu.

Above is a photo I captured and a curated caption with hashtags that highlighted the essence of a Texas State student.

Above is an audience analysis of Hollister’s Instagram page that I conducted.

Given a prompt to analyze the platform uses of a social media influencer, I chose Em, known as Vanillamace. I observed her Twitch, TikTok and Instagram to analyze her cross-platform affordances.
